Renowned fitness chain offers world-class instructors and unique dance classes
15 November, 2011 – Singapore – Celebrity Fitness™, a popular region-based fitness chain today announced its entry into Singapore. Following success in neighboring countries Indonesia, Malaysia and India, Celebrity Fitness expands to Singapore with its first location in Rochester Mall, Buona Vista, opening February 2012. A second is scheduled for a May 2012 launch at E! Hub at Downtown East, Pasir Ris.
First founded in 2003, Celebrity Fitness pioneers the concept of combining fitness and entertainment. Every club member is a celebrity in their own right and treated to a club environment inspired by the bars and night clubs of Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Miami Beach. DNA Raw consists of dynamic choreography set to the beat of Hip Hop and Funk, while DNA Insanity teaches contemporary and modern pop moves. DNA Flavor is a combination of Latin dance such as Salsa, Tango, Flamenco and Merengue.
Other Celebrity Fitness exclusives include a cycling class – Peloton™, designed for members to achieve high levels of fitness, endurance and leg strength. Held in a dedicated studio, the upbeat music and Tour de France segments drive the intensity of the class. If looking for peace of mind, Floating Yoga™ is a revolutionary concept using a hammock as a soft trapeze to support the body while performing graceful yoga poses. The fusion technique is useful for relieving compressed joints and aligning the body from head to toe. Celebrity Fitness also offers traditional Les Mills classes such as Body Pump and Body Combat.
